This is a rare limited edition Vollmer pilot's watch that has not been mass produced. It is the same basic design and size as the model issued to bomber pilots during WWII. The watch is 55mm in diameter, 63mm long and 16mm thick. The case is sand blasted with a screw-in, engraved case back. It has an "instrument-style" dial with C-3 Superluminova treated Arabic numerals and hands. The minutes are located on the perimeter and hours are shown centrally. The oversize onion non-screw down crown allows you to adjust the time while wearing aviator gloves, and the crystal is domed mineral glass. This watch comes on a brown leather aviator-strap strap with an extension for wearing the watch on the outside of an aviator jacket sleeve. The watch is powered by a Swiss Made ETA 2824-2, automatic movement. It comes with a wood box, papers, and two year manufacturer's warranty. Case: Solid sandblasted stainless steel, 55mm diameter, 16mm thick. Band: High quality calf leather strap with buckle clasp. Water Resistant: 50 meters. Warranty: 2 Years.
